Karl Stollery got his cup of coffee in the NHL this season with the Avalanche, and that's about all he got. As an injury call up on a blueline with a ton of guys at his skill level, it's not surprising. It's also not a surprise that he got the nod as he killed it in the AHL playing for the Monsters.

Steve: He played?
mfured20: Karl was fine this year. He did his job adequately, which is all I can ever hope to have an emergency call-up defenseman to do.
Cheryl: I'm looking forward to seeing him in training camp this fall. He didn't look uncomfortable out there, just green. We've got a glutton of guys at his skill level, and at 26, he is what he is. But he wasn't a slouch with the Monsters, so who knows.
