Avs sign F Ben Street

The Avs continue to make over Lake Erie's roster as they bring in Ben Street for more depth. The 27-year old Street is a left-handed centerman who scored 60 points in 58 games for the Abbotsford Heat last year. He has played a whopping 19 games in the NHL, scoring all of 2 points, both assists. But hey, he has 9 penalty minutes so apparently he has an edge to his game, eh? EH?

Anyway. This is more of the same from the Avs as they have to stock a minor league roster as well. The contract is a 2-year, 2-way deal.
