Adrian Dater is reporting that Patrick Bordeleau will be out 3 months following back surgery. While unfortunate for Bordy, it does open up the playing field for guys like Joey Hishon. Should Patrick Roy decide to scrap the traditional view of the fourth line and go with something a little more offensively potent, we just might see some interesting moves.
In addition, John Mitchell is day-to-day as he's suffering from migraines. It's being reported that it isn't due to a concusion, but I'm not sure I buy that. I know my migraines worsened after my concussion and remained so for well over a year afterward.
Dater is also reporting that these are going to be your top two lines for at least the start of the season:
Patrick Roy says the top two lines will be this: Landeskog-MacKinnon-Tanguay O'Reilly-Duchene-Iginla
