Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Bruins of Boston tonight in the Hub. Game time is 7:00pm in the ET, 5:00pm in the Mountain and can be seen on Altitude and GCL. Moser's radio call will be available from the Avs site as usual.
The Avs arrive in Boston ready for a rematch after getting beaten like rented mules in Denver earlier in the season. Smooth Johnny Mitchell will take the warm-up and go if ready. Varly has groin issues (his own, we hope) and will be in street clothes while Calvin Pickard takes backup duties. Brad Stuart's aging back doesn't work and the training staff determined that a 5-hour flight back to Denver was just the thing for it so he's not around. Nate Guenin takes his spot and once the Avs make some sort of roster move we should see someone from San Antonio up with the team on D.
