Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on The Penguins of Pittsburgh tonight at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio Rivers. Game time is 7:00pm in the ET, 5:00pm in the Mountain and can be seen on Altitude and GCL. Moser's radio call will be available from the Avs site as usual.
After an atrocious special teams collapse against Toronto Tuesday the Avs head back to the States to face an up-and-down Pens team. Traditionally this has been a 1-0 game so the PK better get it's act together pronto.
Gabe Landeskog returns from his ridiculous suspension to recomplete the Avs top line, hopefully the time off got his shoulder back up to snuff and some perspective on taking bad penalties.
After a promising 2-game stint on the 1st, Mikhail Grigorenko takes his newfound confidence back to the 3rd line. Smooth Johnny Mitchell is still out with an oblique issue and Ben Street is back in Denver with an ominous sounding chest injury.
Both Nate Guenin and Zach Redmond will take warmups and whoever shoots the puck around best will play.
