In spite of a horrendous 2nd period in which the Avs attempted only 3 shots and Pekke Rinne only had to touch one of them, the Avs pulled off a gritty win against Nashvegas last night. Thanks to the dominant play of Bad Andy and the 2nd line and some clutch scoring from the defense we head to St Louis looking to win back-to-back.
Patrick spoke after the game and indicated that we might see Varly once again today, which I hope isn't the case. Not because he wasn't fantastic last might but because the smart play is to play Yogi and come back with Varly on Tuesday vs Chicago. Same goes for Landy, if he's not quite ready then this isn't the game to force it.
