Some quick notes for the week...

Denver and St. Cloud State ended the regular season facing each other. On Friday, Denver earned a 3-2 win over the Huskies. The game winning marker was scored by Adam Plant; it was his first career collegiate goal. Will Butcher assisted on Ty Loney's (7) second period goal.

On Saturday, the Huskies doubled up the Pioneers 4-2. Denver was unable to overcome three goals in the second period by SCSU. Ben Storm, who earned an assist in Friday's game, finished the evening minus one.

Now both teams prepare for the NCHC conference tournament. Denver, ranked seventh in this week's USCHO.com Division I Men's poll, will host Minnesota-Duluth. The Huskies, needing wins in this tournament, will visit Nebraska-Omaha.

Colorado College has the tough task of facing top seed North Dakota in the NCHC tournament.

Air Force visits RIT in the AHA tourney.
