A Short Adieu to Mile High Hockey

Well, might as well keep this short and sweet.  As you all know, our very own AJ recently landed a job over at BSN Denver, a credentialed site that is hoping to fill the near void of official Avalanche coverage.  A couple weeks ago, he asked if I wanted to come write for him.  After a bit of thought, I've decided to take him up on his offer, so unfortunately, this will be my last post as an author on Mile High Hockey.

I adore you all, and trust me, leaving wasn't easy.  MHH has been my home on the internet for the past five years and instrumental in shaping my views on hockey.  When I showed up here, I didn't even know what icing was.  You all took me in, answered my rookie questions, and accepted me into this wonderful, vibrant community full of book recommendations, alcohol recommendations, cat gifs, and a bit of hockey talk.  I've forged lasting friendships with many of you, and it's been an absolute honor to serve as a staff member on this amazing site.

Now, this isn't exactly a goodbye.  You can't get rid of me that easily (haha nice try).  I'll still be around to pester you all because old habits die hard.  I'll just be taking my lazy staff-writer ways to another site and rejoining you plebs the general commentariat. As always, you can still find me on Twitter @andidee15, you can still partake in my spreadsheet laden babbling over at BSN Denver, and you can still find me here on occassion, rolling my eyes at fivefingers and happily talking some puck.

In short.... so long, and thanks for all the fish.
