Game 2 absolutely delivered on the classic potential this series has. In case you missed out, here's some of the things that happened:

  • nearly 50 minutes of ice time for Duncan Keith
  • enough Ducks shots hitting posts we'd need a montage to show us the passage of time completely capture it

That's how we all learned Rule 78.5 (i) which states you can only direct the puck in with your stick. Given that people direct the puck in with their legs and asses all the time, this decision smacked of Rule 69: You Can't Do That.

If Game 3 tonight is even half the game Game 2 was, well, it would be a normal 60 minute hockey game I guess. The series is tied as we bring it back to Chicago. Who will be left standing?
