New York Rangers at Tampa Bay Lightning, Game 4
Lightning Lead Series 2-1
8:00 PM EST, NBCSN
Finally, FINALLY at long last the New York Rangers figured out how to put the puck in the back of the net in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Week after week of 1 and 2 goal performances for the New York Rangers and finally they broke through to score five goals on Ben Bishop but what? It STILL wasn't enough to win the game? What a gut punch for a Rangers team that responded so well offensively after a disastrous Game 2.
As for Tampa? Another night another goal and multi-point performance for Tyler Johnson. The Lightning outshot the Rangers 38-26 through the first 60 minutes, and looked to have the game locked up with a 1-goal lead late, but Dan Boyle scored the equalizer with 1:56 remaining in the third period to force the game into overtime. It didn't take long for these two teams to decide the game in overtime. The Lightning took a very early penalty but the Rangers could not take advantage, and Nikita Kucherov scored the game winner just moments after the penalty expired. In case you missed it, here's all 11 goals in their full playoff glory:

The Lightning hope to preserve the home ice advantage they stole in Game 2, and take a 3-1 hold on the series before heading back to Madison Square Garden. If the Rangers want to tie the series, they've got to get back to suffocating, defensive, Rangers hockey and keep the score and shot totals low.
