The Avs just landed themselves a 3rd line center.
Craig Custance reports this morning Soderberg signed a five-year deal valued at 4.75 million dollars annually. Pierre LeBrun reported minutes later this would include a full no-trade clause for the first two years and a limited no-trade clause for the final three. All of this is a slight overpayment for Soderberg, and the role he's expected to play, but such is life on the free agent market. For a statistical breakdown of his game, see Mile High Hockey's initial post on the tradethat allowed Colorado exclusive negotiating rights.
Further to @CraigCustance on Soderberg deal, contract includes full NTC in first 2 years and limited NTC in last three
