GDT: Avalanche vs Blues 1/6/16, Game 41

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Bloos of St Looey tonight at the Pepsi Center. Game time is 10:00pm in the ET, 8:00pm in the Mountain and can be seen on Altitude and GCL. Moser's radio call will be available from the Avs site as usual.

As satisfying as the beatdown of the Kings was Monday, it left the Avs short one #1 defenseman. Erik Johnson will be out for a week or two and that sucks. The crafty Avs Pro Scouting Division came to the rescue yesterday by plucking Andrew Bodnarchuk from Columbus as he was about to head back to the beloved Monsters. The staff liked him so much he gets to start on the top pair with Beauch. This is really cool, 4 out of 6 of the starting D tonight have played for the Blue Jackets.  Lines remain the same as far as I know and Varly starts in net of course.
