Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Penguins of Pittsburgh tonight at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio rivers. Game time is 7pm ET, 5pm in the mountains and will be broadcast on Altitude and NHLdotTV with Moser’s radio call available as usual.

Smooth Johnny Mitchell did not join the guys for the trip East but is not on IR (yet?). Mikko Rantanen spent the weekend in San Antonio and had a slick assist on AJ Greer’s first professional goal Saturday night. He gave us a little bit of a scare Sunday, exhibiting signs of a possible re-aggravation of his ankle injury, but completed the rest of the game. My semi-informed opinion is that he will join the Avs next week once they return if all goes well. With a back2back game vs the Caps Tuesday the Avs are starting Picks tonight and Varly against his former team.

We continue the “82 songs the Avs might have considered instead of Delirious” feature today with “King of Rock” by RUN-DMC. Enjoy.
