GDT: Avs vs Kings in Final Frozen Fury

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Kings of Los Angeles in the future home of the Las Vegas Whatevers. Game time is 10pm in the ET, 8pm Mountain and can be heard on AltRadio950 and perhaps some of it can be seen on the NHL Network. It will be joined in progress after another fine hockey game finishes up. If you have access to Fox Sports West, you may see the entire game. NHLdotTV is being coy about whether subscribers will see this one, I choose to hope we will and get the whole thing.

The Avs are at 27 on the roster with 24 healthy bodies + whatever is wrong with Iggy. Word is they only took what they need for the game tonight so 7 guys will be listening from home for the final pre-season tune-up. Duncan Siemens was put on waivers today but skated with the team so presumably will play tonight.

Avs didn’t provide any lineup guidance so it will be a surprise for us all to see who’s in Sin City. We know that Mikko, Mitchell, Comeau and Iggy are ailing and Varly is the starter. That’s it.
