Captain Gabe is still out, this is a recording. Couldn’t skate today so it’s not like he’s really close either. But hey, send down AJ Greer so you can dress a totally ineffective bottom 6. The Avs have more than enough skill to make up for that. Mikhail Grigorenko goes from the doghouse to the top-6, taking the aforementioned AJ Greer’s spot.

The big news is the first callup for goalie Spencer Martin. Varly has UBI so Marty gets to high 5 everyone after each period and look calm on the bench. Glad to see it, he’s played fantastic for San Antonio so far this year and totally deserves it.
