Following the first ever Alumni game for the organization, the Eagles would evidently fall 4-3 to the Idaho Steelheads. Jesse Mychan would notch a two goal night as the Eagles would launch a comeback but ended up falling short to the Steelheads on Saturday night.
The Steelheads would set the tempo of the rest of the game with two quick goals in the first period, but the Eagles would cut into the lead with a goal from Ryan Harrison. Following the Eagles goal, the Steelheads would get two more goals before the end of the first period.
The Eagles would find themselves on the powerplay, where they would once against convert on the man advantage to bring the game back to a one goal deficit with a goal from Mychan to bring the score 3-2.
Mychan would tie up the game with his second goal of the night in the final frame of the game, tying up the game 3-3 with the Steelheads. The Steelheads would convert on an empty net to sweep the Eagles in the weekend series.
