GDT: Avalanche at Predators 12/6/16 - Game #24

NHL: Colorado Avalanche at Nashville Predators Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Predators of Nashvegas tonight at Bridgestone. Game time is 8:00pm ET, 6:00pm in the mountains and will be broadcast on Altitude and NHLdotTV with Moser’s radio call available as usual.

Captain Gabe is still out but he did skate today, this is a recording. Erik Johnson broke his damn leg against the Stars unfortunately so the next 2 months are going to be a bit difficult. Newly acquired Cody Goloubef was called up from San Antonio and will make his Avs debut tonight. Toots also has an LBI of some sort and won’t suit up. Did I mention that that the next 2 months are going to be a bit difficult?

More line blendering going on, now the current thinking is if the team can’t score then the solution is to put a guy with 0 points centering 2 of the top scorers. Yes indeedy, we’ve once again reached the John Mitchell in the top-6 zone. Rocco Grimaldi’s 3 shots on goal wasn’t enough to keep him in Colorado so we’re also back to the Cody McLeod not in the press box zone. Thrilling. Bonne chance, l’Avalanche!
