GDT: Avalanche at Oilers 3/2018/16, Game 73

New, comments
Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Oilers of Edmonton tonight at the drug store. Game time is 9:30pm in the ET, 7:30pm in the Mountain and can be seen on Altitude and Moser's radio call will be available from the Avs site as usual.

You want the good news or the bad news again? Good news it is. Mikko Rantanen makes his return to the Avs lineup tonight playing on a line with.... someone else. Nobody knows really. More good new? Yes, please. Gabe Landeskog returns from his 3-game vacation and not a minute too soon. On the flipside of the coin Nathan MacKinnon suffered a knee injury vs Calgary and won't be available. He's scheduled for an MRI in Denver on Monday. Let's read the tea leaves a bit here. Both Mack and Dutch hurt their knees, but both are still with the team not in surgery somewhere. It's probably not that bad in either case. Either that or the Avs are running the Spanish Inquisition on injured players with their training staff instead of real doctors. I could definitely be wrong here, but it wouldn't surprise me if at least one of them is back soon. Oh, Gelinas royally fucked up his elbow and is out indefinitely too. Picks is in net as per schedule.

No reporters on the trip so here are some lines per Dater and others:

Projectile lineup

Landy - Malkin - Iggy
Boedker - Big Carl - Comeau
Matthias - Grigo - Bad Andy
Cody - Mikko - Skille

Beauch - EJ
