The Avs announced today that 6’3” 220lb forward Andreas Martinsen has re-signed with the club for 2016-17.
Martinsen began last year with San Antonio but was quickly called up in early November and stayed all year, save a one-game stint. He had four goals and seven assists with the Avs and brought physical play and the occasional highlight reel goal.
Martinsen’s deal last year was a 1-year Entry-Level Contract with an AAV of $742,500 so his qualifying offer would have been approximately $780k. Salary and other notes as they become available.
