The Colorado Avalanche have drafted Nathan Clurman from Culver Military Academy with the 161st pick in the 6th round. Clurman is a 6'2" 198 pound defenseman who is also committed to Notre Dame along with Avs 2nd Rounder Cam Morrison. Not a lot out there on young Nathan. He had 4 goals and 12 assists in high school last year. He was born in Boulder, so it's likely he might already have a couple of Burgundy & Blue jerseys in his closet.
If Culver Military Academy sounds familiar, that's because it's graduated a number of high profile NHL players, including Ryan Suter and former Avalanche John-Michael Liles.
