The Avalanche announced today that RFA goalie Calvin Pickard has signed a 2-year contract. Adrian Dater is reporting that it’s a $1M AAV deal.
Picks started the year with the Rampage but was called up for good in December when Reto Berra was injured and subsequently demoted. Picks ended the year with a 7-6-1 record with a shutout and a .922 Sv%. Joe Sakic announced last winter that Calvin would be in Colorado this season full-time.
