GDT: World Cup of Hockey Day 3

Good afternoon sports fans. Now that everyone has played their initial games we move on to round 2 where it’s do or die for a couple of pre-tourney favorites. The USA deals with their demons tomorrow but Russia has a quick turnaround after getting dominated by the Swedes yesterday, on the ice if not exactly on the scoreboard. They face the warp-speed onslaught of the youngsters and it doesn’t bode well for the double-headed eagle. The matinee features the now surprising Misfits of Europe, fresh off an upset of the disappointing US squad, versus a solid Czech team that got absolutely smoked by Canada Saturday.
