2016 has come and gone and if you're an Avalanche fan, it couldn't have been over sooner. The Avs capped the year off in just the way they spent most of it, with a loss. For the tenth straight game the Pepsi Center was looking empty as the Avs ended the game on the wrong side of the scoreboard.
2017 will begin on the road for the Avalanche, however. The Avs have done better on the road than at home, but Monday's match will pin the Avs, losers of three in a row against the Canucks, winners of three in a row. We'll see if streaks continue in 2017 or if the new year will spark some changes on the ice for the Avalanche, or just in the personnel.
