Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Sharks of San Jose again tonight at the Pepsi Center. Gamer time is 9:30pm ET, 7:30pm local and will be broadcast on Altitude with Moser’s radio call available as usual.
After looking like morons for playing with a short lineup the Avs finally called someone up from San Antonio. Jim O’Brien in fact, who would do more to help the Avs win tonight than some others I could name. But alas, we keep the same lineup that at least partially shows signs of climbing out of the pit of man’s fears towards the summit of his knowledge. Spencer Martin got a good taste of what it’s like when everyone stops skating and thinking and hockeying in front of him on Monday. Picks grabs the reins once again.
Barrie and Rennie are skating and Coach Bednar optimistically stated that they shall rejoin the team after the ASG break. He seems perturbed at the Varly situation and I would be too. I guess some sort of decision will be reached by the medical staff this weekend on whether to try something new or shut him down for the season. JB acted a lot like he would prefer the latter in today’s presser.
