GDT: Avalanche at Ducks 1/31/17 - Game #47

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Your Colorado Avalanche take on the Ducks of Anaheim again tonight at the Honda Center. Gamer time is 10:00pm ET, 8:00pm local and will be broadcast on Altitude with Moser’s radio call available as usual.

The Avs kick off 36 games in 69 nights by playing Anaheim for the twelfth time this month, but thankfully the last of the season. Tyson Barrie and Rennie Bork have been activated from IR and will suit up tonight. You might have missed it but Spencer Martin was sent down to the Rampage for the weekend but only played a little because he gave up 4 goals and got yanked mid-game on Saturday. Varly still isn’t on IR, much less LTIR, for reasons only a madman could explain. Pickard will start tonight and tomorrow’s starter will be determined after the game. It sounds like we’re going to have a goalie gong show for the rest of the season. No morning skate so who knows what the lineups will actually look like.
