Andrei Mironov returns to the Avalanche lineup, while the Los Angeles Kings see a meltdown from Jonathan Quick

The Colorado Avalanche reassigned defenseman Andrei Mironov to the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage just last week, hoping to give the blue liner some extra ice time to get used to the North American game in his first year on this side of the pond.

After two points in three games, though, he seems to be back - and although it’s currently unclear why the Avalanche have brought him back up, there’s the hope that they’ll give him additional ice time as they attempt to stop a three-game losing skid [Mile High Hockey]
