The San Antonio Rampage will kick off their 9th annual Face Off Against Kids Cancer program on Monday, Oct. 30 with a Halloween party at the AT&T Center.
Face Off Against Kids Cancer pairs Rampage players with kids from Methodist Children’s Hospital who are in various stages of cancer treatment or in remission. The children along with their Rampage “buddies” will participate in a series of events throughout the season. The first of which is Monday’s event that will take place at the Terrace Restaurant at the AT&T Center. The kids will meet their Rampage buddies for the first time. The players and their buddies will participate in a group dinner, followed by an evening of fun, games, and costumes - all with a Halloween theme.
In addition to the Rampage players, staff from Spurs Sports & Entertainment will participate in the program this year.
The goal of the program is to form lasting relationships between the team and the children while raising awareness for the hospital and childhood cancer in the San Antonio community.
