Game 55: Avalanche @ Sabres

After dropping yet another road game, the Avalanche (15-37-2) head to Buffalo to meet up with the Sabres (24-23-10).

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

It seems the Avs have taken their home woes to the road with them. Tuesday night's loss marked the tenth straight road loss for the Avalanche. Jeremy Smith put on a spectacular showing in his NHL debut, but the Avs lacked the offense to deliver him a victory.

Thursday night, the Avs kick off the first of a back-to-back to finish off the road trip. We'll see if the Avs can secure their first road victory of 2017 against Ryan O'Reilly and the Buffalo Sabres.
