The Avalanche may yet be alive. The offense exploded for five goals against Winnipeg Saturday; the most goals they've scored since opening night as the Avs cruised to their first home regulation win since November 15th. As a reward for the win, the Avs and their fans immediately get to be reminded of the worst loss in Avalanche history as the team that handed them the 10-1 beating back in December, the Montreal Canadiens comes to town. We'll see if the Avs can piece it together again and find their third set of consecutive victories on the season.
