The Avalanche (20-51-3) close out their final road trip north of the border Monday night in Calgary (42-29-4).

Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports

While the NCAA moves toward the Frozen Four and Avs fans drool over future prospects, the Avalanche head to Calgary to finish up one of their final trips of the year. The Flames have been one of the NHL's hottest teams in March, going from playoff hopefuls to a rather solid position in the top wildcard spot. The Flames will be looking to solidify that wildcard position against an Avalanche squad that helped the Oilers firm up their playoff position with two wins last week.
