Every once in a while, you have to match a positive reinforcement when there is something extremely negative in your life. Unfortunately for Avs fans, the Avs are the major negative contributor. However, do not fear.. because the Eagles are here!

The Colorado Eagles are sitting on top of the ECHL standings, as they hold a record of 40-14-1-3 for a combined point total of 84 points. At this current state of time, the Colorado Eagles are on a record breaking winning streak as they have won the past 17 straight games. The winning streak began on January 25, 2017 as the Eagles defeated the Tulsa Oilers by a final score of 3-2.

One of the main reasons why the Eagles have been so dominant this season, is due to goaltender Clarke Saunders, as the all-star goaltender has been dominant in the net all season long. The Eagles have had plenty of offensive contribution as Matt Garbowsky, Luke Salazar, and Casey Pierro-Zabotel are leading the way for the team.

Tonight, the Eagles will be looking for their 18th straight consecutive win as they continue their weekend series against the South Carolina Stingrays. If you have not been able to make it down to one of their games this season, this would be the one to attend. Come and see if this juggernaut of a team can extend their streak.

Go Eagles!
