Playoff Nightlies 4/27/17

NHL: NHL All Star Game-Skills Competition Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening sports fans. After last night’s display of hot goalies cooling off and thuggery in the Western Conference, the East gets to open it’s division finals tonight. We have the two best teams in the league plus the “other” series. Another shoutout to the NHL for a half-hour stagger so we don’t have to deal with Mad Mike and the Kentucky Derby promo rolling 7 times every intermission.

7pm ET - Rags at Sens on CNBC

7:30pm ET - Pens at Caps on NBCSN

The West staggers on again tomorrow with same Bat-time, same Bat-channels as last night.

Nic Meloche and the Islanders still can’t find a way past Blainville’s clog so they face elimination on Saturday afternoon. Charlottetown lost again last night 4-2 giving up a pair of PPGs and a shortie. Special teams are killing them in this series.

Reminder that our beloved Colorado Eagles kick off Division finals tomorrow night at Allen.
