Nic Meloche and the Islanders are back home and facing elimination this afternoon after losing 3 in a row to Blainville-Boisbriand. Nifty scoring forward Daniel Sprong has been suspended just to make things that much harder. Game time is 3pm ET on LHJMQ en Directe. In the other Semi, St John has a 3-2 lead against Chicoutimi and will play game 6 tomorrow at 4pm. If the Isles win they will also play a game 6 at 4pm.

The beloved Eagles took a gutsy game 1 from the defending champion Allen Americans last night 4-1. Julien Nantel & Shawn St-Amant had assists, both their first of the playoffs, and Alex Belzile got an unassisted goal that turned out to be the game-winner midway through P1. He also added an assist for his 11th point in 6 games so far. Game 2 is tonight at 8pm ET on ECHL Live. The Eagles return to the Front Range for games on Wednesday, Thursday and possibly Sunday next week, so get your tickets now.
