Good morning sports fans. The World Championship round robin is in it’s second to last day and spots in the Quarterfinals are up for grabs. The NHL brings us game 2 in the East tonight.

IIHF Worlds

10:15am ET - Team Canada vs Norway

2:15pm ET - Russia vs Latvia

Canada and Russia play both today and tomorrow to finish up preliminary play. After a lackluster performance against the Swiss this weekend the Canadians need to ramp up their play heading into the elimination rounds. Tomorrow they will play the desperate Finns who will need a win to continue. Russia, along with the US and Sweden, are solidly headed into the quarters and just need to solidify their status as Gold Medal favorites. Tuesday, the US/Russia game might be the best match of the tournament so far. Prepare to avoid total concentration on work.

Sweden plays before tomorrow’s thread comes out at 6:15am vs the Slovaks and their Avs 3rd jersey kits.

NHL

8:00pm ET - Ottawa at Pittsburgh on NBCSN, Sens up 1-0

For the rest of the week games will all be at 8pm East on NBCSN alternating series.

ECHL

The Colorado Eagles and Toledo Walleye face off in Loveland Wednesday for game 3, series tied at 1.
