Good morning sports fans. The IIHF Worlds present the semi-finals from Cologne, the Colorado Eagles try to clinch the Western Conference Championship and the Memorial Cup and Stanley Cup playoffs roll on. Lock it in and rip the knob off.
IIHF Worlds
9:15am ET - Canada vs Russia
1:15pm ET - Sweden vs Finland
The winners meet in the finals tomorrow afternoon. Canada has been sneaky bad and Russia hasn’t but this should be a doozy. Interesting to see how the “just glad to be here” Finns do against another sneaky bad team from Sweden.
Memorial Cup
3pm ET - Erie vs Seattle
Just a reminder that NHLN is tape delaying these for fun, no idea when it’s going to air there. Last night St John fell to the host Spitfires.
NHL
7:15pm ET - Nashville at Anaheim on NBC, series tied at 2
Disturbing news out of Nashvegas that both RyJo and Captain Mike Fisher were taken out of the series from reckless play by ANA defenseman Josh Manson. If it were me I’d have a large cash bounty on his head. Large.
ECHL
9:00pm ET - Toledo at Colorado on ECHL Live, Eagles lead 3-1
After a 3OT thriller last night, the beloved Eagles get a shot at the old WCHL trophy for winning the Western Conference tonight. Good seats still available in Loveland if you want to see history being made.
