Playoff & World Championship Dailies 5/5/17

Good morning sports fans. The IIHF World Championships begin this morning and continue through the afternoon. The NHL picks up where they leave off with the Central & Pacific Division Final series.

Worlds

10:15am ET - Finland vs Belarus in Germany. Mikko plays for the Finns of course

10:15am ET - Sweden vs Russia in France. Landy & Carl take on Andrei Mironov (we think)

2:15pm ET - USA vs Germany in Germany. JT Compher will wear the stars & stripes

2:15pm ET - Czech Republic vs Canada. Barrie, Dutch and Mack will skate for Team Canada, Picks will start in net.

No idea where you can legally watch these games, other than USA/Germany which will be on the NBC Sports App. Our good friends in Canada will have access to the TC games on TSN. If you want to watch bad enough you can find a way.

NHL

The Bloos are facing elimination, hopefully that happens so we don’t have to watch horrible Yeo-Hockey anymore. Anaheim and Edmonton have a crucial game 5, big test for the playoff newcomers vs the veteran Ducks.

8pm ET - Nashville at St Looey on NBCSN, Preds looking to clinch up 3-1

10:30pm(ish) ET - Oilers at Ducks on NBCSN, all tied at 2
