Playoff & World Championship Dailies 5/6/17

Good morning all. The World Championships roll on with 6 games in France & Germany and the Stanley Cup playoffs turn to the Eastern Conference for a day-night double.

World Championships

Aside from our Swedish fellows the rest of the schedule has little but tenuous ties to the Avs. Norway has Bad Andy & Holos, the Danes have Markus Lauridsen, etc.

2:15pm ET - Sweden vs Germany

The rest of the gang plays tomorrow. Set your alarms early for RUS/ITA or CAN/SLO at 6am Eastern. The US and Finland play (other teams) at 10am ET.


The early game is the always important game 5 in the Atlantic. In the evening game, Washington looks to avoid yet another chokasaurus season and early golfing courtesy of their BFFs from Pittsburgh.

3pm ET - NYR @ OTT on NBCSN, series tied at 2

7pm ET - PIT @ WAS on NBC, Pens up 3-1
