Sweden v USA White - 2014 USA Hockey Junior Evaluation Camp

Good morning sports fans. The NHL playoffs are down to one game per day now but the Worlds round robin portion is heating up with some bigger contests today.

IIHF Worlds

10:15am ET - Germany vs Russia in Koln. Mironov upped his playing time in the Italian blowout, let’s see if he can keep that going against better competition

10:15am ET - Canada vs Belorus in Paris. Mack had a hat trick yesterday and Barrie had 4 points against Slovenia. We could see something similar here. Picks might be in net if they continue the rotation.

2:15pm ET - Finland vs Czech Republic in Paris. The poor Finns are struggling and the coach seems reluctant to put Mikko where he’ll do the most damage. They need points here.

2:15pm ET - Team USA vs Sweden in Koln. Best game of the day as these two teams with identical 8/4 goals for/goals against stats battle to stay in the top 4 in Group A.

No interesting games tomorrow so blowing off work today is the call.

The continuing saga of the Caps vs themselves and the Pens takes the stage tonight in Pittsburgh.

7:30pm ET - Caps at Pens on NBCSN, pens lead 3-2

The beloved Eagles fell again to the Allen Americans yesterday, making the series 3-2. Game 6 in Allen is tomorrow, game 7 if necessary will be Wednesday and the Western Conference finals begin Friday in Toledo.
