Today is HERSday

Introduction by Taylor Sedona Clark (@taylorsedona)

Women are so important to every aspect of hockey, whether it be competitiveness or growth of the game as a whole. The women who play the sport are role models and inspirations. Coverage of the women’s game is always going to be important. We’ve recently decided that Thursdays at Mile High Hockey will now be ‘hersday’. To celebrate the first Hersday, today we will feature hockey coverage by a number of talented women. Some are regulars at MHH, others are friends and colleagues - but all have a passion for watching and covering the game of hockey. For daily, hard-hitting women’s hockey coverage, please visit our sister site, The Ice Garden. To kick-off our own ‘hersday’ women’s hockey coverage, later today we’ll be featuring Nicole Hensley, from Lakewood, Colorado, who was recently named to the US Women’s National Team.
