Grimaldi now locked up leaving only Nikita Zadorov to sign for next season

NHL: Minnesota Wild at Colorado Avalanche Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

According to our good friends at BSN Avs, Colorado has come to terms with Winger Rocco Grimaldi on a 1-year 2-way contract for this season. Per CapFriendly he will make $750k in the NHL and $170k in the AHL.

Grimaldi was the leading scorer on the Rampage last season tallying 31 goals and 24 assists in 72 games. He ended the AHL season 2nd in shots on goal and 3rd in goals for the entire league. Stout campaign. He also had 2 callups with the Avalanche, a quick game in December and 3 games at the end of the year scoring an assist for the big club.

The Avs have 5 out their 6 Restricted Free Agents signed now with only Nikita Zadorov still looking for a deal. The expectation is that will happen in the next few days.
