The Prospects

@Rudo3 made a great video about Colorado Avalanche prospect, and Michigan graduate J.T. Compher. [Mile High Hockey]

Top 25 Under 25

#24: Forward Julien Nantel will be hoping to improve on a less than stellar first year in professional hockey, after being bounced from the AHL to the ECHL. “Selected in the 7th round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Nantel was always going to be seen as an extreme long shot to make the NHL - and after his first pro season, the same still looks to be true.”

#25: None of us really know anything about Igor Shvyryov and that’s okay. Igor seems to have all the tools, time will tell if he can put it together and contribute for the Avalanche. “Shvyryov is a 6’, 205lbs playmaking center that was passed over in his first year of draft eligibility but this year was ranked 23rd among European skaters by NHL Central Scouting.”

The Game

The Dallas Stars will host the 2018 NHL Draft at American Airlines Center on June 22-23. [NHL]

The Binghampton Senators Devils, have a new logo... Thoughts?

It’s been a quiet weekend on the hockey front. Hope everyone’s enjoying their summer! NHL games are coming soon, I promise.
