This weekend is the annual 4 Nations Cup, a tournament used by national teams to help build their U20 teams for the World Junior Championships in December.
2017 5th round pick Igor Shvyryov was named to the Russian team and if he performs well we should see in in Buffalo in December.

Shvyroyv played well in Magnitogorsk last season, putting up 70 points in 40 MHL (junior league) games and was invited to the KHL team for 10 games as well (no points).
This is an excellent opportunity for the young Igor to show off for Magnitogorsk fans, Russian fans, and Avalanche fans alike.
