Tyson Jost has been selected to represent the Colorado Avalanche at the 2017 NHLPA Rookie Showcase, which begins on Monday, August 28th in Toronto. This event serves as an introduction to the media and promotional opportunities for prospects expected to make their NHL debut or contribute to their club in the coming season. Among the events in the week long showcase include posing for Upper Deck trading cards, which can be released after a player's NHL debut. Jost joins an expected group of 25 rookies who were all drafted within the last several years. The last Avalanche prospect to receive an invitation was Chris Bigras in 2015.
