Colorado Avalanche release Jared Cowen from PTO

You may now breathe a sigh of relief.

The Colorado Avalanche released Jared Cowen from his PTO today.

That now leaves the preseason roster at 29. 10 of which are defencemen. 9 of those with 1 more shot to make the opening night roster.

This leaves the team with 9 healthy defenders in camp. We already know which we’ll be seeing in the preseason finale tomorrow night.

Zadorov-Warsofky

The Avs take on the Vegas Golden Knights tomorrow night in Las Vegas, NV at 8pm. The game will be televised on Altitude.

We should expect some additional cuts on Friday.
