The Colorado Avalanche bring their respectable 3-2 preseason record with them to Vegas and a meeting with the Golden Knights at T-Mobile arena on Thursday, September 28th at 8pm MT. This game will serve as the wrap-up to the exhibition slate for Colorado while Vegas finishes up theirs on Saturday night. The Avalanche generally uses this game as a dress rehearsal for the regular season opening, which will be seven days later in New York against the Rangers, and the lineup seen tonight will look a lot like what takes the ice on October 5th.
Avalanche Lineup
For their part, the Avalanche are going with several forward lines which have shown some good chemistry in the previous games. The defensive pairings have a bit more of an experimentation feel. In goal, as expected Semyon Varlamov will take the net but will be backed up by Joe Cannata, who is filling in for an ailing Jonathan Bernier.
