This game will take place at Solar4America Ice, which is the Sharks' practice facility. Who to watch:
The Avalanche brought most of their prospects who are expected to see NHL action this season with them to California. Expected to don the burgundy and blue are names such as Tyson Jost, JT Compher, Andrei Mironov, Chris Bigras and even possibly AJ Greer and Alex Kerfoot. Conversely, Sharks have elected to graduate some of their better prospects from rookie camp such as Timo Meier and Kevin Labanc. The most intriguing Sharks on the roster are a pair of highly skilled late round 2017 draft selections in forwards Sasha Chmelevski and Ivan Chekhovich. Defenseman Jeremy Roy, who missed most of last season with a knee injury is expected to make an appearance as well.
How to watch:
The Avalanche rookies will face the Anaheim Ducks on Monday, September 11th at 8pm MT and conclude against the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday, September 12th at 1pm MT before heading back home to Colorado for main camp. Both games are at Solar4America Ice as well and should be streamed on the team website.
