While the attention of the hockey world is on the trade deadline, the Colorado Avalanche are preparing for a game tonight. The Avs will hit the ice looking to get a second win against the Vancouver Canucks in less than a week.
Last Tuesday, Colorado had a huge come from behind overtime win in Vancouver. The game saw the Avalanche explode for 5 powerplay goals and was a milestone night for Nathan MacKinnon.
Trying to keep pace in the Wildcard race, the Avs need a big win against the lowly Canucks tonight that are on the second leg of a back-to-back.
