The playoff schedules do not change for the Western Conference if Boston ends up winning tonight and moving past Tampa Bay for the Atlantic Division title.

Game 1

The first playoff game for the Colorado Avalanche since 2014 will be on Thursday April 12th at 7:30 pm MDT at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Game 2

The next game will also be in Nashville in the afternoon. A 1:00 pm MDT start on April 14th kicks off the first Saturday Night of the playoffs.

Game 3

The series will then move to Colorado for two games, the first being an 8:00 pm MDT game on Monday April 16th. An afternoon game followed by an evening game should be ample rest for both teams given the ~1200 miles of travel they will most likely have to endure on Saturday evening. Rest is so key in the playoffs and the Avs will hopefully have enough to keep them healthy over the next week and a half.

Game 4

With a day of rest on Tuesday, the two teams will faceoff on Wednesday April 18th at 8:00 pm MDT. This is where we complete the shocking sweep of Nashville. ;)

Game 5*

The NHL hasn’t released a time for the next three games because it’s not certain whether these games need to be played or not but we do know that it will be in Nashville and on Friday April 20th. Again, it’s good that the Avs get two days between games and nothing that could get them off their normal routine.

Game 6*

If neccessary, the series will come back to Colorado for the final time on Sunday April 22nd at ??:00 pm/am MDT.

Game 7*

Should it get this far, Nashville will have home ice advantage for the series deciding game that will take place on Tuesday April 24th.
