Mile High Hockey is looking for a few new contributors

Happy New Year Colorado Avalanche fans. It’s been a tough few weeks for the team, but hopefully this is the dark before the dawn of a push towards the playoffs.

Now that the busy holiday season is behind us, it’s time to get down to a little business. Thanks to some pretty big life events - new jobs, college, weddings - a few of our contributors have been forced to step away from the site for a little while. While it’s sad to see them go, we here at MHH choose to view it as an opportunity to bring in some new blood.

Our community is growing rapidly - as of December 31st our unique visitors are up 24% YOY - so with the fresh eyes on the site, we thought it would be a perfect time to open things up for a few new faces who would like to contribute to the content.

If you’ve ever thought you’d like to start writing about hockey - whether as a hobby or as an attempt to gain experience to build a career - you’re exactly who we are looking for.

Experience isn’t a necessity, though it would be valuable. Fans of the Avalanche, the NHL and hockey in general are all welcome.

Time constraints, geography, experience with the game, whatever is causing you to hesitate, don’t be afraid to reach out - our contributors range from a former development coach mother in Arizona to a college student in Colorado who was just getting into the game of hockey.
