The Colorado Avalanche won a wild game in Florida last night, defeating the Panthers 5-4 in overtime and erasing 2-0, 3-1, and 4-3 deficits in regulation. As it turned out, it was a good thing Nathan MacKinnon was good to go yesterday, because he was originally a game-time decision. Here is the full recap of the game.
Nathan MacKinnon scored in overtime as the @Avalanche improved to 6-0-1 and matched the second longest season-opening point streak in franchise history (7-0-0 in 1985-86 and 5-0-2 in 1997-98). #NHLStats pic.twitter.com/2aKA0Bvq5p— NHL Public Relations (@PR_NHL) October 19, 2019

Alex Newhook said it himself. His sister Abby is better than him at hockey:
Born and raised in St. John’s, N.L., Alex and Abby Newhook share a bond that's fueled by their love of the game.
